For over 20 years, Heidi Rasmussen has been immersed in both academic scientific research of holistic wellness and her own personal journey as a teacher and enthusiast of yoga, meditation, dance, song, crystals, food & nutrition, herbal botanicals and a life close to the mountains.

Her teaching style is rooted in a scientific foundation, enhanced by her genuine love of teaching and simplifying complex concepts and connecting the dots of diverse realms.

After completing her degree at Acadia University in 2007, Heidi Rasmussen devoted both her professional and personal endeavors to exploring, educating, practicing, and teaching holistic and community-based wellness practices globally, including in Canada, Hawaii, Europe, Bali, and Mexico. For nearly the past 13 years, Heidi has been passionately immersed in the field of digital education and entrepreneurship.

She is co-founder Grandmothers Kitchen (founded in 2013) after years spent in her Mother’s, Grandmother's and Grandfather’s and Aunties' kitchens and gardens. Grandmother’s Kitchen has endeavored to create recipes that are not only delicious but nourishing.

She is also co-founder of Magicka Academy educational platform, designed to empower individuals by providing them with personal practices of yoga, holistic wellness, and crystal healing resources as well as professional development courses.
