Heidi Rasmussen

Heidi Rasmussen, BSc Nutrition

Heidi studied nutrition at Acadia University, completing a Bachelor of Science in Nutrition and Dietetics with Honors. She has worked with clients both online and in various health centers, developing personalized nutrition programs tailored to individual needs.

She also trained at the Deepak Chopra Center in La Jolla, California, with a focus on Ayurvedic Nutrition.

Heidi grew up in a family where the garden and kitchen were at the heart of daily life. This inspired her to co-found Grandmother's Kitchen, a recipe website blending traditional home cooking with modern awareness around ingredients.

She worked as a research assistant at the University of Calgary in Complementary and Alternative Healthcare, contributing to the development of a 'gold standard' for holistic health models.

Above all, Heidi is passionate about healthy eating — and even more so about simple eating. She understands that everyone is different, and what works for one person might not work for another.
